I had a really hard time getting into this one to start. It took me about 25% to be hooked, but then I was and it got better as it went along. I had two main problems with it, but I generally liked it and will for sure be reading the sequel! I think Heilig has a good grasp on her niche genre and the characters are ones I really liked!

Five Books Ready to Give You a Book Hangover

Hi guys I thought I’d start my journey here by telling you about books I love SO MUCH that I can’t get them out of my head. Plus I’ll give you some tips about how to get over each book once you read them! 

I obviously did not include Harry Potter because that will live with me forever and there is no cure for that hangover.

THE RAVEN CYCLE || Maggie Stiefvater.
After I read The Raven Boys I immediately devoured The Dream Thieves and then went straight to my library to be put at the top of the list for Blue Lily, Lily Blue. I literally eat, sleep, and dream about this series. I even have Maggie’s playlist that describes Ronan (entitled A Terrible Playlist for Stealing An Old Friend’s Camaro) in my car at the ready – my friends are so sick of hearing Slippery Slope and about how wonderful Blue and Ronan are that I think they may stop talking to me.

How To Get Over The Book Hangover: Buy the “The Trees Speak Latin” mug off of Society6 by What The Book and drink tea out of it while crying about how perfect Blue and Ronan are. At least, that’s what I’m doing.

These types of reviews are so incredibly difficult. There is so much you want to say about this book, yet you can't. It's even worse when the book in question, like this one, is beyond amazing.

 When I entered Heidi's book, I had no idea what to expect. But truthfully? THE GIRL FROM EVERYWHERE blew me away. I was like a plastic bag caught in an F5 tornado, sucked in and whirled around and around. This book has everything and more.

Nix is a thoroughly enjoyable character and I adore her! Throughout the book she faces such hard choices and I applaud Heidi for making her feel so real. There were many times while reading where I choked up or my heart clenched in pain for her. There's also the incredibly sexy Kashmir who stole my heart and promptly ran away with it. And another guy that I won't name right now. Let's call him B.

This book is magical and I wish I could tell you guys all about it. After you've finished you'll have a burning desire to visit Hawaii, warning you right now!

 Yes, they all make an appearance. And this is only a very small fraction of what appears in this glorious book.

So! Five gigantic hearts to this book. It's one to watch, that's for sure. Easily one of my most favorite reads this year. Heidi has crafted a masterpiece and I am very anxiously awaiting book 2.
